What's new

The patriot shirt page will be placed in the back with a list of in-stock shirts and sizes available. Since the New Year is right around the corner, no more of these designs will be ordered, but you can still purchase from what we have remaining.
                                       Thank you for your participation.

Ok, Here's what's new this time:
Buffington's(R) "Biker Babies".
Just click on the correct page above and it will take you right there.

Here's something new:
While visiting in Sturgis, South Dakota in August, I found out from a friend of mine that they were going to have lions, and tigers, (and no bears, oh my!), and other big cats at the motorcycle rally. So I went there.
Here are some pictures that I had taken. You could have your picture taken for a donation, and that donation goes to help feed and care for the animals.
People who know me, know that I thought I had died and gone to heaven (so to speak)! They had the most beautiful cats there. I also got to meet Ken and Vicki Alvarez. They were in charge of all the animals. I had a nice chat with Ken. I also watched how he handled the cats.
(Please excuse the redness of me. It was 105 degrees for several days and I got sunburned!)

This seemingly large cat is a "White Bengal Tiger". His name is "Max" and he is only 15 months old. Quite the "kitty" isn't he? He was a little ornery that day, but he posed just fine as far as I was concerned. He was the first tiger I posed with. They also had a white female named Annie there.
Bengal tigers come in (2) two colors. The "regular" orange with black stripes, and white with chocolate brown stripes. The white bengal is not an albino, it has ice blue eyes (you can't see that here, because he is turned away from the camera).

This big beautiful boy is called "Dakota". He, like Max above, is only 15 months old. Look at those paws! He could put his paw over my face and you couldn't see my face at all! And he's still just a baby!
Dakota is a "Siberian" Tiger. They are the biggest tigers of all the 5 subspecies. Males have been know to reach 400-600 pounds in weight.
(Did you notice the tiger on my shirt? It could almost be a picture of Dakota!) That is one of my designs that you can order.

And last, but not least is little "Kira". She is a 10 week old Siberian tiger. They brought her out for me to have my picture taken with her, and I just fell in love! She was so sweet. And after the picture was taken, I got to sit with her for a minute. She started licking my hand, and then my arm. Ever had a brillo pad rubbed on your arm? That's kind of what it felt like. Of course, with wild animals, you don't know if they like you or they're "tasting" you for later. HaHaHa. Really, she was the cutest little thing. But she won't stay little for long.

I was really pleased with the care and handling of these animals while I was there. And I made several trips back there, just to watch. There were also 2 lions, a black leopard (rare), 2 leopards and 3 other tiger cubs , along with several other Siberian tigers.
If you would like to make a donation, or to find out where they are going to be next, ( I hear they are going on the road soon), here is the contact info:
